NPCs always get confused by the Mighty Nein’s group name bc there’s only 7 of them but they are mistaken bc it actually represents their collective number of brain cells

Just some impressions from the making of Fury Road to remind you that they used as less CGI as possible. Thank you George ♥

George Miller the realest person you’re ever gonna meet.

are you fucking kidding me that was two straight hours of ACTUAL EXPLOSIONS

The best part is that, from my understanding, there were quite a few scenes where George Miller said “No this is too dangerous we’ll do this in post” and the rest of the crew was like “NO LETS DO IT NOW WE CAN DO IT”

are you telling me this was fucking cirque du soleil in the desert with fucking explosions

Tom Hardy described it as slipknot meets cirque du soleil

literally they hired cirque du soleil acrobats to get the aerial stunts right.

George Miller is like the anti-Hitchcock. Hitchcock threw lives birds at people and fucked them up and George Miller goes ‘no you can’t have people on see-saws with engines at the end going 500 miles an hour!’ and the actors are all like ‘bitch try me’.

ya’ll headcanoning Miles shoplifting art supplies on the regular when canonically he can’t even get away with tagging a postal box with a removable sticker…is very sus…

image

Whites: so he uhhh is black…so they STEAL but he does it artistically….UwU

It shows they really want to apply racist stereotypes to miles even though it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever lol. First of all Miles is a good kid who would never steal and his family clearly has enough money to buy art supplies, even the expensive kind lol. And even if he wanted to steal something, you think Jefferson would let him get away with it?? Never have I heard someone headcanoning Spiderman as a thief. Spiderman, the friendly neighborhood hero who walks people home and stop people from robbing stuff, is gonna steal stuff from art stores????

(vax): once upon a time there was a girl who drove her brother so crazy that he sold her to a circus.

(vex): an evil circus?

(vax): no, a nice one with bears.

The Mighty Nein as Flowers

dnd-creations:

Mollymauk: Lavender. This purple plant has a vibrant floral scent and could easily overtake your garden if left to run wild on its own. It relieves anxiety and its generous scent carries for a long time even when dead and dried.

image

Jester: Cornflower. (Or the superior Swedish name Blåklint, meaning blue plateau.) This is an explosion of blue from a small little bud on top of a thin stem. It is a hardy flower that can tough through a lot of things and has a multitude of health benefits. It is surprisingly difficult to pick due to its tough stem.

image

Nott: Nettle. Green and unassuming with seldom seen but adorable little white flowers that are a treat for those who spot them. Treat it the wrong way and it will hurt you like hell, but treated right it can be very good and nurturing. A single nettle can easily sneak in a sting without you knowing it’s even there.

image

Beauregard: Thistle. This flower looks like it’s out to get you, and it just might be. While beautiful if you have the right kind of eyes, most underestimate or even look down on this particular flower. Be forceful with it and you’ll find yourself begging to be let go. Be nice about it and you just might discover some surprising benefits.

image

Caleb: Fire Lily. This fiery flower leaves you breathless when it blooms, despite looking very uninviting before blossoming with its thin and pointy leaves. While seemingly delicate, this is actually a surprisingly hardy flower that doesn’t need any outside help to survive. Be careful though; it could be fatal for cats.

image

Caduceus: Echinacea. This relaxed looking pink flower is a tall and towering powerhouse of health benefits. It does everything from enhancing your performance or curing your flu to strengthening your immune system and helping you focus. It also soothes bee stings.

image

Fjord: Water Poppy. This might be a shiny yellow treat for the eyes, but it can cause more trouble than you think. While pretty to look at, it could have disastrous effects on its surroundings through dominating waterways and even eliminating many native water plants because of its growth.

image

Yasha: Hemlock. This massive flower means business. You might think it nothing special to look at with its tiny, white clusters of flowers and thick stem. Don’t underestimate it. Just one touch can cause severe pain and complications. It could even be fatal.

you-oughta-know:

I just realized all the kids growing up with Spotify don’t have to spend money on specific music anymore, so they probably won’t have the memory of saving up money to buy their first CD and having it be something super cringy…like I think I saved up $15 for three weeks to buy the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack at Barnes & Noble when I was 9 and I was really proud of myself for that. Add your first CD you were way too proud of buying in the tags
